    We are looking for an agency interface analyst to join our team. This position requires a critical thinker with an in-depth knowledge of agency interface activity for the insurance industry. The successful applicant will be able to analyze business processes, evaluate effectiveness and use problem-solving skills to formulate recommendations.     Responsibilities

    • Serves as the primary contact for independent agents, to introduce, register where and when appropriate. Assists agents in coordinating company technology and external technical and consultative resources to implement interface programs and enhancements.
    • Acts as the liaison between independent agents, company technology and agency interface vendors to establish agency interface implementation project plans and to identify and research technical developmental opportunities.
    • Facilitates and coordinates the identification of interface process improvements, conducting needs analysis and diagnostics as a result of requests for assistance or as a consequence of independent observations.
    • Recommends cost effective solutions to interface systems that improve quality, service and productivity in support of the company's continuous improvement objectives.
    • Develops and implements agency interface customer service workflows to foster continuing agent satisfaction and provide best possible service to the customer.
    • Review and analyze requests for new agency interface programs.
    • Participates in the development and implementation of special projects as requested.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • 2 or 4 year college degree in technical field or equivalent combination of education and experience strongly preferred.
    • 3 or more years of customer service experience
    • Understanding of how systems interface, some XML and JSON knowledge, and customer service skills.
    • Desirable - understanding of agency interface software, ACORD standards, and United Fire Group’s internal software programs.
    • Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
