JOB SUMMARY: As a Forms Analyst you will be working at an awarded Top Workplace. Here is what you’ll be doing on a daily basis:  Responsible for the analysis, development and management of forms for Commercial and Personal Lines insurance products. Examine and evaluate the format and function of ISO, AAIS, and bureau forms. Identify form needs, complete feasibility analysis, evaluate business risk, and provide recommendations for proprietary endorsement language including revision, consolidation, or discontinuation of ISO, AAIS, bureau and UFG forms. Draft new and enhanced proprietary endorsement language according to product development user requirements. Act as a coverage resource to Corporate Underwriting and the Regional Offices.


  • Proactively monitor regulatory, ISO, AAIS and bureau product circulars and filings
  • Monitor ISO emerging issues
  • ISO, AAIS, UFG Proprietary form list maintenance
  • Act as a forms resource for Corporate Underwriting Staff, Underwriting Regions, Marketing and PMO (Project Management Office)
  • Notification and implementation of impending ISO, AAIS and WC Bureau forms and rules changes to key stakeholders including product development and line analysts, project leaders, legal and underwriting managers
  • Drafting of coverage forms
  • Prepare data, exhibits, cover letter and all required content for flings and releases. Submit filings and respond to inquiries from state departments of insurance
  • Coordinate rate, form and parameter code entry with the Automation Support Technicians or the Lead Programmer
  • Assist with the development of marketing materials, employee/agent training and other implementation activities
  • Create business specifications for automation projects when required
  • Status reports
  • Performs other duties as assigned



  • Four year college degree or equivalent work experience and active participation in insuranceeducation.
  • Applicable work experience in legal, financial, underwriting, claims, marketing or as an agency producer.
  • An understanding of loss ratio, loss development, and actuarial concepts is highly desirable.
  • Candidate must be willing to pursue professional P&C development and insurance education.
