The Marketing Communications Manager is a relationship builder, with a proven ability to develop and foster positive working relationships throughout our company and our community. The successful candidate has strong communications skills, and is responsible for managing internal and external communications which support and strengthen our corporate brand. This role is responsible for protecting and promoting UFG’s image through an effective media relations strategy. Strong leadership skills inspire and motivate a team of writers, graphic designers and videographers who create innovative and powerful marketing messages with a clear and consistent voice across all media platforms.
Lead team members through the creative process of developing large scale, high profile marketing campaigns that span multiple regions and media platforms. Provide general guidance, as needed, in the development of all other marketing communications projects.
Execute our media relations strategy by drafting and delivering carefully vetted messages that enhance our corporate image and strengthen our corporate brand.
Employ qualitative and quantitative research methods to identify business opportunities and develop effective marketing messages.
Oversee the messaging and distribution of internal corporate communications with an emphasis on executive communications.
Monitor proofing procedures to ensure that all marketing materials are properly edited and proofed, and fully comply with state insurance advertising regulations.
